Mommy: I will always treasure our final farewell and keep you in my heart. Knowing you and daddy are together and I have my own special guardian angels, comforts me and makes me smile. Your courage and inner strength will inspire me all the days of my life. I love you. Until we meet again. Ever yours, Deb

My Grandmother was a very special woman. She was and will continue to be loved by everyone who has ever had to honor and privelege to meet her. It wasn't until her last 5 or 6 years that I truly got to develop a meaningful relationship with her. I treasure each and every moment, every letter and ever picture with her. She will never be forgotten and she will live on through her family. Like my Aunt Deb said in her eulogy, we will continue to talk about her and reminsce and keep her in our lives. Grandma, I love you very much and I am glad that you are with Grandpa in heaven. I am glad that you have obtained an eternity of happiness with Grandpa and a never-ending glass of Coors Light (her favorite beer). I find comfort that you are in Gods care. I love you.

Mommy
I think of you at every moment as I work in my garden, plant my pansies, cultivate my African Violets and yes, as I scrub my floors and vacuum every corner of my home. You made me the mom and grandmother ( YaiYai) that I am today. You were the best teacher that I could have possibly had, teaching me how to be a selfless mother. I’m eternally grateful and I’m hopeful that you’re looking down on me with a smile of approval Missing you always. Your daughter Pam

Dearest mom-I’m thinking of you today. The 15 years since you’ve been gone feels like an instant and a lifetime ago all in one breath. You taught me to be resilient in a way I never imagined at the time I would need to be. You showed me a tenderness in the waning days of your life that comforted me during a time of great sadness and pain. In one of our very last conversations you said to me: “ I wish I could do what I was able to do when you were a little girl; just kiss it and make it better.” Oftentimes when I’m feeling sad and in need of a special kind of comfort, your words come back to me and “make it better.” You are in my heart and on my mind today and always. Ever yours, Deb

Dear mom. 15 years have passed since we said goodbye to each other the day you left us. The time that we spent with each other during your last weeks are precious to me. The conversations we had, the walks we took as I pushed your wheelchair, the silent times we spent together are still vivid in my mind. When I look at pictures of you, our family, I clearly see your love of life, dad, your children, your joy of life radiates from your smiles. You were a mother who dedicated herself to her her family and we are all blessed that you nurtured us to become the adults we are today. I’m so grateful that you were my mom, grateful for the love you bestowed on me, the lessons you taught me and the care that you provided me. Your last lesson, Saturday morning when you told Bonnie and I that you found the “keys to the door” has always comforted me, it’s a gentle reminder for me to keep my faith in god because I know you are in heaven with dad. I love you, your son Gregory.
