Obituary of Irene Moltane

Irene Moltane, age 77, of Ansley Road, Paupack died Tuesday, October 4, 2005 at home. Mrs. Moltane was born April 7, 1928 in Paterson, NJ and was the daughter of the late John and the late Irene (Hudaseon) Overmere. Following her marriage she worked at NJ Bell office. She was a teachers aide at Wallenpaupack School District and prior to relocating to the area she worked in Rockaway Twp., NJ schools. Mrs. Moltane was a member of 55 + club in Paupack, Mittens for the Homeless at B.V.M. Queen of Peace Church, in Hawley and was a volunteer for THE OTHER SHOP of Wayne Memorial Hospital Aux., She is survived by two sons: Gary Moltane of Dutch Harbor, AK, Douglas J. Moltane of Seattle, WA; two sisters: Elizabeth Messenger of Paterson, NJ, Marie Ricca of Wayne, NJ and one brother: Edward Overmere of Paterson, NJ and many nieces & nephews Calling hours will be Friday Oct 7, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday Oct 8, at 10:00AM at BVM Queen Of Peace Roman Catholic Church, 319 Chestnut Ave, Hawley by Rev. Richard W. Beck, Pastor. Burial will be in B.V.M.
