Amanda Augusta Mills, age 83, of 150 Noble Lane, Bethany Village, Honesdale died Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale.
Mrs. Mills was born July 30, 1922 at Brooklyn, NY the daughter of the late Henry and Amanda Ficken. She was married to John G. Mills.
She was retired as a Secretary from Brown Brothers Bank in 1980.
She is survived by her husband: John G. Mills and a niece, Christine Vehstedt of Hawley, PA; a nephew, Carl Magnussen of Brooklyn, NY
Calling hours will be Friday from 9 to 11 AM at TEETERS' Funeral Chapel, Inc., 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. The funeral will be Friday at 11:00 at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley with Rev. Martin L. Cox, Jr., Pastor officiating. Burial will be in Green Gates Cemetery, Hawley on Friday.
