Howard J. Dixon, age 76, of Hawley died Thursday, December 8, 2005 at home.
Mr. Dixon was born September 30, 1929 inNewark, NJ and was the son of the late James and the late Mildred Dixon.
He was a retired antique dealer and was formerly employed by Hewlett-Packard. He enjoyed hunting.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years: Jane R. (Rosenberg) Dixon, one daughter: Judith Johnson of Lake Hopatcong, NJ and two sons: Howard J. Dixon, Jr. of Landing, NJ, David Dixon of Landing, NJ: one stepdaughter, Jennifer Castillo of San Francisco, CA; one sister: Jane Fredericks of Sparta, NJ and 5 grandchildren.
The funeral will be Monday, December 19, 2005 at 2:00PM at Temple Beth Isreal, Honesdale with Rabbi Allan L. Smith, officiating.
