Obituary of Elizabeth A. Johnson

Elizabeth A. Johnson, age 80, of Hawley died Friday, December 9, 2005 at Ellen Memorial Health Care Center, Honesdale. Born September 11, 1925, in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Elizabeth (Hauck) Lee. She was married to Edward M. Johnson for 49 years. He predeceased her in May 1996. She was also predeceased by a grandson, Erik Johnson. Mrs. Johnson was a member of the Gospel Tabernacle in Honesdale and had been a volunteer with AWANA at Cole Memorial Baptist Church, Hawley. She is survived by a son & daughter-in-law: Edward & Susan Johnson of Clifton, NJ; a granddaughter & her husband, Tara & Kris Thompson; and a greatgrand son, Parker, all of Yardville, NJ. Calling hours will be Monday from 1 to 6 PM at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. The funeral will be Tuesday at 11:00 AM at TEETERS' East Chapel with Rev. D. Paul Williamson and Assistant Pastor Sal Santoli of Honesdale Gospel Tabernacle officiating. Burial will be in Green Gates Cemetery, Hawley, following the service.
