Dorothy C. Dinan, age 81, of Whitestone, Queens, NY died Tuesday, January 17, 2006 at home. Mrs. Dinan was born July 16, 1924 in New York City, NY and was the daughter of the late Thomas and the late Anna (Cleary) Curran. She was a former CCD teacher & Eucharist Minister at B.V.M. Queen of Peace RC Church. She always enjoyed driving and eating. No matter her age, Dorothy remained young at heart and her Catholic faith supported her thoughout her life. She was a retired technical librarian for CitiBank. She is survived by three daughters: Patricia Zoltowski of Staten Island, NY, Ann Marie Eager of Whitestone, NY, Marion Dinan of Long Island City, NY and four sons: Father Dennis M. Dinan of Port Jervis, NY, Thomas Dinan of Long Island City, NY, Terence Dinan of Hawley, PA, Joseph Dinan of Hawley, PA; one sister: Sister Theresa Francis of Sparkhill, NY and two brothers: Thomas Curran of Laconia, NY, Francis Curran of Hicksville, Long Island, NY. She was predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Francis Thomas Dinan. Calling hours will be Thursday Jan. 19, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM and Friday Jan. 20 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday Jan. 21 at 11:00 at St. Marys Roman Catholic Church, 46 Ball St., Port Jervis by Rev. Dennis M. Dinan and co-celebrant Rev. William B. Healey. Burial will be in B.V.M. Queen Of Peace Cemetery, Hawley, PA Memorials may be made to St. Marys Roman Catholic Church 46 Ball St. Port Jervis, NY 12771
