Walter H. Schmalzle, age 77, of Lords Valley, PA died Thursday, January 19, 2006 at VNA Hospice At CMC, Scranton.
Mr. Schmalzle was born September 9, 1928 in Lords Valley, PA and was the son of the late Walter and the late Agnes (Rockline) Schmalzle.
He was a retired truck driver for Unity Stores In Philadelphia, PA.
Mr. Schmalzle was a member of Teamsters Union, PA National Guard. He was an avid hunter & coin collector.
He is survived by a niece, Dorothy Eckweiler of Sparta, NJ; Great Niece, Carol Sherrier of Newton, NJ; Great Nephew, Robert Eckweiler of Newton, NJ. He was predeceased by a brother, Frank Wiest.
Calling hours will be Sunday Jan 22, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. The funeral will be Sunday Jan. 22, at 2:00 at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley with Rev. Stanley M. Eskra, officiating.
Burial will be in Perry-Rockline Cemetery in Lords Valley.
