Obituary of Ada M. Warnke

Ada M. Warnke, age 94, of Shiny Mountain Rd, Greentown, died Sunday, January 29, 2006, at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late William and the late Anna (Burkit) Moffitt. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Warnke, in 1969. Formerly a resident of Bethlehem, she had lived in Greentown more than 70 years. Mrs. Warnke was of the Lutheran faith and had worked in domestic cleaning services. She is survived by a daughter: Irene Elizabeth Mendsen of Sanford, FL; two sisters: Agnes Moll of Bethlehem, PA, and Katherine Leibensperger of Bethlehem, PA; three grandsons; 3 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. She was predeceased by a son, Henry W. Warnke, and a sister, Elsie. Calling hours will be Thursday from 1 to 2:30 PM at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. The funeral will be Thursday at 2:30 at TEETERS' East Chapel with Rev. David Heckler, Pastor of St. Pauls Evangelical Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Paupack.
