Obituary of Mildred M. Scholl

Mildred M. Scholl, age 82, of Tafton, died Sunday, February 12, 2006 at home. Mrs. Scholl was born May 30, 1923, in Elizabeth, NJ, and was the daughter of the late Leslie and the late Marguerite (Kinnely) Carlson. She was co-owner of Scholl Electronics in Clark, NJ, and relocated to Paupack, PA, in 1965; and was co-owner of Country Workshop from 1965 to 1988. After retirement, she and her husband enjoyed wintering in Venice, FL. In April of 2005, she happily attended the wedding of Richard III to Emily Danilovitz of Lakeville, finally witnessing the marriage of her first grandchild. She is survived by two daughters: Dr. Catherine Scholl Gerson and Audrey Scholl, both of Tafton; two sons: Richard Scholl Jr. of Paupack and Raymond Scholl of Mason, NH; two sisters: Alyce Williams of Vero Beach, FL, and Audrey Robbins of Peoria, AZ; five grandchildren: Richard III and Martha Scholl, Jeffrey Gerson, and Lindsay & Foster Scholl. A memorial service will be held Tuesday Feb. 14, 2006, at 10:30 AM at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, with Rev. Richard W. Beck, Pastor of B.V.M. Queen of Peace RC Church, officiating.
