Obituary of Carol Janet Frisbie

Carol Janet Frisbie, age 69, died Monday, February 13, 2006 at Birch Hills Personal Care Home in Simpson. Mrs. Frisbie was born October 7, 1936 in Honesdale, PA and was the daughter of the late Frank and the late Evelyn (Rynerson) Varcoe. She was the widow of Frederick M. Frisbie. He died in September of 1997. They had been married for 42 years. She was an owl collector and she enjoyed painting needlecraft. She was predeceased by a brother, Frank, Jr. She was a retired seamstress for Katz Underwear Mill, Honesdale, PA And Sherman Mills In Hawley. Mrs. Frisbie was a member of Graduate of Honesdale High School. She is survived by two sons: David A. Frisbie, Sr. and his wife, Jean of Honesdale, PA and Carl Frisbie and his companion, Donna Hazen of Honesdale, PA; one sister: Joyce Nonnenmacher of Honesdale, PA; 2 grandsons and 3 step granddaughters. She was predeceased by her husband, Frederick Frisbie. Calling hours will be Wednesday Feb. 15, from 7 to 9 PM at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. The funeral will be Thursday Feb. 16, at 10:00AM at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley with Rev. Martin L. Cox, Jr., Pastor Hawley United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Green Gates Cemetery, Hawley.
