Clara H. Karkheck, age 88, of, Hawley died Tuesday, February 14, 2006 at Aseracare Hospice At Mid-Valley Hospital, Peckville.
Mrs. Karkheck was born May 25, 1917 in Brooklyn, NY and was the daughter of the late Albert and the late Else Schoessow.
For 20 years she owned Karkheck Market in Hawley.
She is survived by one son: Robert Karkheck of Hawley, PA; one sister: Lillian Hayes of East Setauket, NY; one grandson, Brett R. Karkheck of Harleysville, PA; one granddaughter, Alison D. Smith of Hawley, PA; 2 Great Grandchildren, Harley & Shay Smith.
Private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family.
Burial will be in Green Gates Cemetery.
