Obituary of Elizabeth McConnell

Elizabeth McConnell, age 84, of Hawley died Saturday, June 29, 2013 at home. Mrs. McConnell was born July 22, 1928 in Roselle, NJ and was the daughter of the late Leo and the late Astrid (Ludwigsen) Giesler. She was predeceased by her husband, Gerard in 1995 and a brother, Raymond Giesler. She was a graduate of Abraham Clark High School in Roselle, NJ and was a homemaker. She is survived by four sons & daughters-in-law, Michael & Sandy Ulbaldi of Rochester, PA; Raymond & Loretta Ubaldi of Lakeville, PA; Dennis & Denise Ubaldi of Gulf Breeze, FL; Mark & Betty McConnell of Hawley, PA; daughter & son-in-law, Donna Ubaldi-Cron & her husband, Rod Cron of Dingmans Ferry, PA; four sisters: Ellen Venditto of Toms River, NJ, Anne Chappell of Basking Ridge, NJ; Edie & Edward Gallagher of Seaside Park, NJ; Jeanne & Mickey Knight of Basking Ridge, NJ; sister-in-law, Mary Giesler of Chatham, NJ; ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and cousins. The family would like to thank the Wayne Memorial Hospice for the care and comfort provided during her final days. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Wednesday, July 3rd at 10 AM at BVM Queen Of Peace Roman Catholic Church, 314 Chestnut Ave, Hawley. Burial will be in B.V.M. Queen Of Peace Cemetery, Hawley. Memorials may be made to In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to one's favorite charity.
