Obituary of Richard F. McCormick

Richard F. McCormick, age 71, of Sandy Shore, Hawley, died Friday, April 21, 2006, at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale. Born October 28, 1934, in Altoona, PA, he was the son of the late Cloyd and Alice (Tschopp) McCormick.
He served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He retired as manager of customer service for the US Postal Service in Redondo Beach, CA, in 1990.
Mr. McCormick was a life member of VFW Post 2828 in Redondo Beach, CA. His family states, "He was a good man who loved his family and friends." Say a prayer, keep happy thoughts in your heart and offer a toast to him.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years: Sharon L. (Hunt) McCormick; two sons: Michael McCormick and Kevin McCormick, both of Torrance, CA; and a stepdaughter: Jessica Patzuk of Damascus, PA.
