Dorothy F. Weinand, age 83, of Tafton died Thursday, April 27, 2006 at Ascera Care Hospice at Mid-Valley Hospital, Peckville.
Mrs. Weinand was born November 3, 1922 in Astoria, LI, NY the daughter of the late Jacob and Madelene (Connolly) Als. She was married to Ernest H. Weinand for 63 years.
She had been employed as a Sales Clerk by Macys in Smithtown, NY. She was a long time resident of Holbrook, LI, NY and lived in Tafton for the past year.
She is survived by her husband: Ernest H. Weinand and two sons: Dennis Weinand of Riverhead, NY and Doug Weinand of Tafton, PA. Also two grandchildren, Travis And Crystal
