Obituary of Howard Livingston Hintermeister,

Howard Livingston Hintermeister, Sr., age 80, of Hercules, CA, died Thursday, May 25, 2006, at University Of CA Hospital in San Francisco. Mr. Hintermeister was born March 15, 1926, in Scranton, PA, and was the son of the late Frederick A. and the late Helene (Sherwood) Hintermister. He served for 27 years in the Army during World War II, Korean Conflict, and th Vietnam War. He retired as president of International Airlines Travel Careers and was a consultant for Japan Airlines. Mr. Hintermeister was a 32nd Degree Mason, member Toastmasters International and a member of I.A.S.C.O. He is survived by his wife: Millicent (Fleming) Hintermeister; one son: Howard Hintermeister, Jr., of Alameda, CA; a granddaughter; a great grandson; and a sister: Shirley Walsh of Lake Ariel, PA. Calling hours will be Saturday June 3, from 10 to 11AM at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. The funeral will be Saturday, June 3, at 11:45AM at Fairview Memorial Park Chapel, Elmhurst, with Rev. William Samford, Pastor 1st Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst, PA.
