Obituary of Margaret D. Murphy

Margaret D. Murphy, age 96, of Hollisterville and formerly of Hawley, PA, and New Jersey, died Tuesday, May 30, 2006, at VNA Hospice at Moses Taylor in Scranton.
Mrs. Murphy was born August 25, 1909, in Darvel, Scotland, and was the daughter of the late Francis and the late Helen (Fitzsimmons) McFedries. She was predeceased by her husband of 47 years, William Scott Murphy, in 1982.
A homemaker, she was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Hawley and a life member of the Order of Eastern Star.
She is survived by four daughters: Anne McDougall of Scotland, Agnes Willock of Ridgefield Park, NJ, Jeanette Rhode and Patricia Ressegiue, both of Hollisterville, PA; 5 grandsons; 1 granddaughter and 8 great grandchildren.
The funeral will be Thursday June 1, 2006, at 11:00AM at First Presbyterian Church, Church St, Hawley, with Rev. William Samford, Pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Green Gates Cemetery, Hawley.
