Obituary of Anthony Delligatti

Anthony Delligatti, age 91, of Oakwood Terrace, Hawley, died Wednesday, August 23, 2006, at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale. Born in Nusco, Italy, he was the son of the late Pasquale Anthony and Maria Carella (Prudente) Delligatti. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, the former Nancy J. Hiris.
Formerly a resident of Jackson Heights, Queens, NY, he was retired as a lineman for Con Edison in New York. He had been a local resident for 20 years and was a member of BVM Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Church in Hawley.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a sister: Mafalda Digesu of Massapequa, NY, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Rose Conte, Yolanda Salvi and Felicina Naolillo, and a brother, Michael Angelo Delligatti.
Calling hours will be Sunday, Aug. 27, from 2 to 5 PM at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. The Funeral Mass will be Monday, Aug. 28, at 10:00 AM at BVM Queen Of Peace Roman Catholic Church, 319 Chestnut Ave, Hawley, with Rev. Richard W. Beck, Pastor, officiating. Burial will be in B.V.M. Queen Of Peace Cemetery in Hawley.
