Obituary of Edward Douglas Foster

Edward Douglas Foster, age 85, of Tafton died Thursday, September 28, at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale. Born in Poughkeepsie, NY, he was the son of the late James and Sarah (Cassell) Foster. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Lorraine Hesselgrabe.
He served in the Navy during World War II. Prior to his retirement, he was a foreman for New York Central Railroad. Formerly a resident of New Port Richey, FL, he had been a Tafton resident for 10 years.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Cremation was held at Lake Region Crematory in Lake Ariel.
