Lynn Richard Updegrove, age 54, of Greentown, died Tuesday, October 24, 2006 at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale.
Mr. Updegrove was born November 11, 1951 in Pottsville, PA and was the son of the late Richard E. Updegrove and Nadia (Wiest) Schreffler.
He was the former co-owner of Kris & Lynn's Fireplace. He was employed as a truck driver by Pike Co. Recycling and was a snowplow driver for Palmyra Twp.
Mr. Updegrove was a member of Life member of Tafton Fire Co. and was the Fire Police Capt.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years: Kristine(Erickson) Updegrove, one daughter: Desiree Olsen of Honesdale, PA and one son: Sgt. Matthew Updegrove of Greentown, PA; three grandchildren; one sister: Susan Stearns of Hawley, PA and one brother: Brian Shock of NJ
A memorial service will be held at a time and place to be announced.
