Cousin Dottie was always very loving and caring to me and to the rest of my brothers and sisters. I recall with great fondness the time my family spent with Dottie and her family when we lived in New Jersey. Years later when I moved to New York from California Dottie welcomed me back into her home with the same warmth and generosity. I know that my parents, David and Connie Brown, thought the world of Dottie.

Dottie was always a joy. She welcomed me into her family and gave my husband, her nephew, a warm home and heart. She will always have a very special place in his heart, and she will be dearly missed. Thank you Dottie, for giving my husband the love he needed when he needed it most, and believing in him.

I miss Dottie. I miss being able to talk to her. She was the kind of person you could talk to about anything and everything. She was an understanding soul and a forgiving soul, too. She was a true Christian in every sense of the word. Love you, lady.

I first met Dottie when she worked at Wallenpaupack School. She made you feel warm and welcomed. I mentioned Dottie's passing to one of my current co-workers and she stated that she had met Dottie at a antique store and Dottie welcomed her into the neighborhood and invitied her to come to our church. Dottie was a true and caring friend and will sorely missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family.
