So many memories of nights out for dinner, choir and other outings. Harry gave lots of good advice about life. We will miss him very much. We know he is at peace now. We love you Harry.

Art does imitate life. There are so many tributes on Facebook already. I remember it all from the Red sweaters with white berets while building the music program at PPBHS. Where else would someone play in a HS marching band for 6 years without having stayed back in any grade. I am most proud to have been in the alumni symphonic band for his retirement.

My fondest memories of High School are of Mr Madole as Director of Music..he challenged us to be our best. He was our friend and mentor.

Mr. Madole was one of my best teachers and I learned to truly appreciate music from him. He came to PPBHS when the band had been decimated by a previous director and rebuilt it to one of the best. He got people like me to join and that was the best decision I made in high school. He left us music, a great gift.

I joined the band because I was friends with a clarinet player at PPBHS. Mr. Madole declared he had enough clarinets and needed a flute player, so that is what I learned to play. I still play and so does my daughter. His influence led to me encourage my children to join the band. He will be sorely missed. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Mr. Madole instilled in me a confidence I carry to this day. He brought out the best in his students, respected us and we respected him for that. I have such wonderful memories of those PPBHS Band years. Thank you Madole family for sharing him with us.Know that his legacy has been passed on through every life he touched.

We were at the Michigan's Cabin last week and we talked about Pt.Beach glory days. Besides all the jock talk, we reminisced about the faculty. Harry's name was right there with all the great teachers who made "The Beach" what it was. He was a down to earth guy who excelled at his job, loved the kids he tutored, and was an insiration to all. He made students proud to be a part of the band. We lived just up Eastham Rd.from your old house and every so often we pass and say there's the Madole house. His contributions to the "Beach" shall always endure. Our deepest sympathy and prayers are with Harry and his family, God Bless.

Mr. Madole was the single most influential teacher I ever had. Even though I was a lousy, though enthusiastic, musician, he saw some quality in me that took years for me to see in myself. He made me a leader, when I saw myself as anything but. Those times hanging out in the band room were the happiest of my PPBHS days. Those were the times of "Just wild about Harry" and the striptease halftime show!
Did you hear about the guy who walked through the screen door? He strained himself.
RIP Mr Madole, and Peace to all the family. I am sorry for your loss.
