Virginia C. Marville, age 73, of Lakeville, died Wednesday, November 21, 2007, at Mercy Hospital, Scranton. Born March 27, 1934, in Camden, NJ, she was the daughter of the late LeRoy and Lucy (Whitehead) Cade. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Samuel F. Marville. A graduate of the West Jersey Hospital School of Nursing in Camden, NJ, she had been a registered nursed for 40 years, retiring from West Jersey Virtua Hospital in 1997. Formerly of Collingswood, NJ, she had been a local resident since 1998. Mrs. Marville was a member of Hawley United Methodist Church where she was active with the Joyful Ringers Bell Choir, United Methodist Women and was the first chairperson of the Mission Outreach Committee. She had been a lifelong volunteer with many organizations and activities. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law: Donna & Jim Cackowski of Collingswood, NJ, and Dawn & David Carbonara of Marlton, NJ; a sister: Carol Slimm of Florida; and four grandchildren: Jennifer & Denise Cackowski and Nick & Laura Carbonara. Calling hours will be Tuesday, Nov. 27, from 10 to 11 AM at Hawley United Methodist Church, 315 Church St., Hawley, PA. The funeral will be Tuesday, Nov. 27, at 11:00AM at Hawley United Methodist Church, with Rev. Martin L. Cox, Jr., Pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Lakeville Cemetery, Lakeville.
