Obituary of Daniel Edward Wormuth

Daniel Edward Wormuth, age 44, of Tink Wig Mountain Lake Estates, Hawley, died Thursday, February 21, 2008, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley. Born August 24, 1963, in Scranton, he was the son of Edward Fanton and Marilyn (Glossenger) Wormuth. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, the former Laura Ann Costello.
Formerly of Lake Ariel and a graduate of Western Wayne High School, he was a construction laborer and a member of Laborer's Union Local #130. He had a great sense of humor, both with his family and at work. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
In addition to his wife,he is survived by one daughter: Amanda Wormuth at home; his parents: Edward Fanton and Marilyn (Glossenger) Wormuth of Lake Ariel, PA; one sister: Cindy Sholtes of Throop, PA; one brother: Timothy Wormuth of Lake Ariel, PA; nephews: Ryan & Sean Sholtes of Throop, PA; nephew and niece: Kenneth & Erika Wormuth of Lake Ariel, PA; and a wide circle of family and friends.
Calling hours will be Monday, Feb. 25, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. The funeral mass will be Tuesday, Feb. 26, at 10:00AM at BVM Queen Of Peace Roman Catholic Church, 319 Chestnut Ave, Hawley, with Rev. Richard W. Beck, Pastor, officiating. Burial will be in B.V.M. Queen Of Peace Cemetery, Hawley.
