Although we weren't able to see each other a lot, I wish that things were different and that I was able to spend more time with you. You were able to make me laugh about anything...I will always remember your laugh and your smile and that charming voice that no one else could ever compare to. I know that heaven has received a musical angel and that you will bless with them your charm and whit. I know you are with Mom now and I miss you both more than you know.

This will be said from myself but will be put out from my whole family. Joe De Sane was a true care-giver in our eyes and as our whole family heard the news we literally did not know what to say and were in shock. He has brought baseball into our lives and in the past shown us great respect and what it is like to be a leader. He is in our thoughts and in our hearts and should never be forgotton. God Bless to you Joe and your whole family. Pray and get through this tough time and we are here if any of you need anything.
Im so sorry for your loss.

I just read all the peoples comments about Joe. It comes as no surprise to hear that so many others had the same feelings toward him. I only knew him for a short time from the video store but he quickly became one of my favorite persons ever. He was just so lovable. I found myself stopping by the store even when I didn't need a video and I always left in a better mood than when I came in. We should all strive to honor his memory by treating one another the way he treated us. The world will be a better place. May God bless Joe and comfort his family. I am sure he is in the front row of heaven's choir.

Between the years 1969 through 1970, my cousin Arlene Benza and I used to go to see Joey and The Tuneful Trolley as much as we could. We were very big fans! I am sure he and the rest of the group would have remembered us. I remember Joey as a sweet guy with a wonderful voice - and a great lead singer who could sing a song exactly as the artist of the song he was performing. My condolences go out to his family. He made a lot of people happy with his musical performances.
