Dear Aunt Janice,
Oh my wonderful aunt, how I miss you. I have so many fond memories of you. I remember giving you lala and then pretending to have it so you would thumb your nose at me or swat me one. Mama would come after us both with the flyswatter for that. You were always so sweet to forgive me for my teasing. We spent many a day working on puzzles together, going on treasure hunts (for lala of course)singing songs and watching your favorite shows. I will never forget how much you loved us "babies" and that you were always happy to see us. I am so glad to know that you are with your mama in heaven as I am sure you missed her terribly. I look forward to meeting you again in heaven someday and praising the Lord for all eternity with you. Til we meet again. All my love, Lori

My earliest memory of Aunt Janice was when I was somewhere between 2 and 3. I was at her house everyday while Mom and Dad worked and I watched her gathering "la la" daily - mostly from uncle Carl. When it came time to potty train, I decided to put what I had learned from my Aunt Janice to the test. I told Uncle Carl that if he wanted me to use the potty, I wanted some "la la"! He laughed, promptly gave me a quarter and off I went. Janice was the first entrepreneur that I had the good fortune to know and to love well. We spent many fine days of my childhood playing ball with Midnight, assembling jigsaw puzzles, taking long walks, watching Hee Haw & Lawrence Welk, just sitting on the porch or looking out the window spying on the neighbors and, of course, gathering as much "la la" as we could. I often think of her endless patience sitting while I washed and set her hair and no matter now good or bad it turned out she always loved it. Janice was a major part of my life and I will always be grateful for knowing her and loving her. I am proud to be one of her "babies" and I will miss her more than anything. Farewell gentle soul. Take care of grandma for us.

My Dear Aunt Janice..I will forever remember our dances on the front porch while you sang your own special version of “Glory Halleluiah “ (Looley, Looley, Looley, Looley), or the times we would read books together and if I turned the page too quickly, you would smack me. It always made me laugh. I have always held dear in my heart the excitement in your face when the parade would come past your house and you could hear the band coming when they weren’t even in sight yet. I loved the way you always imitated the drums (Boomba Boomba Boom). I will miss you terribly and love you lots.
Love, one of your many “babies”, Cathy

My Very Special Aunt Janice, I will always remember the colorful yarnball I made you (when I was a brownie) that we tossed together as a little girl. You were so happy to have that. It just made me realize forever that it's the little things. I remember the puzzles, gumdrops, teaching you to play war (cards), and how you always loved my babies as I grew to be a young mom. Thank you for all your inspiration in my life. I loved you for that! I know you are in a better place and very happy to see your mama! God Bless You! You were soooo soooo special of a blessing here on earth to our family.
Love Your Niece,
Diane & family

Aunt Jannette,
Janice won't be collecting "lala" any more but will be singing with the angels. I wonder what her first words will be to Uncle Snickel? What a wonderful homecoming she will have.
