Rose C. "Rosche" Mlynarski, age 71, of Paupackan Lake Estates, Hawley, died Monday, November 24, 2008, at home following an illness. Born November 20, 1937, in Ardara, County Donegal, Ireland, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Margaret (Carr) McHugh. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Frederick J. Mlynarski. A retired insurance company secretary, she was a member of BVM Queen Of Peace Roman Catholic Church, Hawley. She formerly lived in Woodside, Queens, NY and Florida. Having had a vacation home in Paupack Lake Estates since 1976, she moved there full-time 10 years ago. She had been an elementary school teacher while in Florida. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law: Frank & Betty McHugh of Middletown, NY, and John & Philomena McHugh of Ireland; three sisters-in-law: Breda McHugh of London, Mary McHugh of Texas and Mary McHugh of Massachusetts; two brothers-in-law: Al DeLuca of Massapequa, NY, and Jackie O'Connell of County Cork, Ireland; her dear childhood friend: Sister Angela Brennan of Brooklyn; and many nieces, nephews and cousins . She was preceded in death by three sisters: May Lynch, Patricia O'Connell and Ita DeLuca; and three brothers: Charlie "Chal" McHugh, Hugh McHugh and Myles McHugh. Calling hours will be Friday, Nov. 28, from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. The Funeral Mass will be Saturday, Nov. 29, at 12:30 PM at BVM Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Church, 314 Chestnut Ave, Hawley. Burial will be in B.V.M. Queen Of Peace Cemetery, Hawley.
