Obituary of Victoria A. Campagna

Victoria A. Campagna, age 87, of Hawley and formerly of Scranton, died Tuesday, October 15, 2013, at Geisinger-Community Medical Center in Scranton. Mrs. Campagna was born October 1, 1926, in Dickson City, PA, and was the daughter of the late Anthony and Helen (Lewandowski) Lipinski. She was predeceased by her husband, Eugene D. Campagna, DDS, in 1993. Victoria was a former Altar and Rosary Society member. She adored her children and grandchildren and loved to cook and bake. Vicky enjoyed a wide circle of friends. She was a homemaker and also assisted her husband in the dental practice. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Patricia and David DeCato of LaGrangeville, NY; son and daughter-in-law: Dr. Eugene D. Campagna, Jr, DMD, and his wife: Judy of Grove City, PA; seven grandchildren: Thomas, Katherine, Jessica DeCato, Angela and Tony Campagna, and Alex and Clark Goodwin; great grandchild: Giovanni Campagna; three sisters: Mary Dougherty of Henderson, NV, Genevieve Kuchinski of Moosic, PA, and Hedy McGowan of Hampton, VA. Calling hours will be Thursday, October 17th, from 4 PM to 7 PM at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, October 18th, at 10 AM at BVM Queen Of Peace Roman Catholic Church, 314 Chestnut Ave, Hawley, by Rev. Richard W. Beck, Pastor. Burial will be in Cathedral Cemetery in Scranton.
