My Aunt Arleen was always a very sweet and caring person. I wasn't able to see her (and Uncle Tommy) very often but I will always have fond memories of their visits. And believe it or not I can still remember the fun we had at their house, playing in the pool and riding bikes down that big hill. I know that she will be happy to see Aunt Gen, Poppy and Jon-Jon in heaven. One day we will all be there together!

Bill Koehler, Arleen's Brother posted a condolence
My thoughts and prayers go out for my Brother-in-law Tom, and to all of my sister Arleen's children: My nephews Eddie, and Tom Jr., and my neices Phylis and Kelly, including all the grandchildren. This is a sad time for all in the family. My mother loses a fine daughter after losing her husband, and her other daughter Gen. She has also lost one of her grandchildren, John John to this enemy death. And now we will miss Arleen, but she will be remembered not only by us, but also by God for all her good deeds. She always cared about others first, taking care of me when I was just a boy, and she was always a stable influence throughout my life for which I am very grateful. She is now at peace, a restful sleep, awaiting the time when she will be awakened to live again on earth to be with the ones she loved. This time there will be no pain, sorrow, or tears, and the earth will be a paradise of God's making. There will be no talk of sickness, death, anxiety, frustration, or fear. Just talk of joy, love, peace, and endless life to accomplish good things that we all can share in. That is my hope, and I'm sticking with it. It is guarranteed by god, and He has put it in writing for us. See you then Arleen, Gen, Dad, and John John. It won't be long now.

Dear Uncle Tom, Kelly, Pyllis, Eddy, and Tom, I'm so sorry for the loss of Your Wife and Mother. My Aunt Arleen was both Strong and smart, and most of all ,sweet and sensitive. I could allways talk to her about my problems, and she would allways give me darn good advice, especially when it had to do with my Mother(her sister). She also never had a problem scolding me either! Most of the time I cn admit I needed it!! My fondest memories of aunt Arleen is when my Daughter Brandi and I came up to visit in 2000. We had an awesome time swimming, hanging out at the lodge, and of course enjoying her cooking! Living so far away, it was nice to reconnect with both she and Uncle Tommy, and for my daughter to get to know them as well.I will miss our phone conversations and most of all her advice. I will allways have a special place in my heart for her. I know she is an angel now whatching over all of us, waiting to see us all again someday. I love you Aunt Arleen. Love, Christine
