Gail M. Clark, age 69, of Sandy Shore, Lakeville, PA, died after a brief illness Wednesday, June 10, 2009, at Moses Taylor Hospital in Scranton. Mrs. Clark was born March 4, 1940, in Philadelphia, PA, and was the daughter of the late Russell and Sarah (Kelso) Mawson. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who was known as Gigi to her grandchildren. She was a member of the Hawley United Methodist Church and attended the First Presbyterian Church in Naples, FL. Gail volunteered at the Naples Conservancy & Naples Christian Women and was a former volunteer at The Other Shop. She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star in Philadelphia. She and her husband reside in Naples, FL, in winter and formerly lived in Bucks Co., PA. She is survived by her husband of 49 years: Walter R. Clark; a daughter and son-in-law: Cheryl and William Bonner of State College, PA; a son and daughter-in-law: John R. and Kim Clark of Franklinville, NJ; a brother and sister-in-law: Russell and Marie Mawson of Villas, NJ; six grandchildren: Bryan, Brendan, Johnny, Brittany, Julia Leah and Jenna Gail; one niece and two nephews. Calling hours will be Saturday, June 13, from 11 AM to Noon at Hawley United Methodist Church, 315 Church St. Hawley, PA, followed by the funeral service at Noon with Rev. Martin L. Cox, Jr., Pastor, officiating. There will be additional visitation on Monday, June 15, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, Feasterville, PA. There will be a Prayer Service there at 12:30 PM. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Hawley United Methodist Memorial Fund, 315 Church St, Hawley, PA 18428.
