I THOUGHT OF YOU WITH LOVE TODAY BUT THAT'S NOTHING NEW. I THOUGHT OF YOU YESTERDAY AND THE DAY BEFORE THAT TOO.
I OFTEN SPEAK YOUR NAME. I OFTEN TELL THE STORIES.
NOW ALL I HAVE ARE THE MEMORIES AND IMAGES IN MY MIND. YOUR MEMORY IS MY KEEPSAKE WITH WHICH I'LL NEVER PART. GOD HAS YOU IN HIS KEEPING AND I HAVE YOU IN MY HEART.
I miss you more each day.

Kathy was my gardening mentor when I lived in Hamburg. She knew so much about flowers and could plant a flat of annuals faster than anyone I know!
She will be missed by many.

I remember the first time I saw Kathy, she was so beautiful...her long blonde hair, tan, sophisticated style and a smile that immediately put you at ease. Then, I got to know her and she was so much more than just a pretty package. We spent a lot of time together when we all lived in Hamburg. We shared a love of cooking, gardening and nature. We still talk about our joiner picnics when we would each just bring out what we had in the house and spend hours outside, in the candlelight, eating & drinking & sharing stories with each other. Anyone who happened to come by was welcome to join. Kathy was comfortable with who she was and in turn made everyone around her feel comfortable as well. She turned the normal & the mundane into a beautiful adventure. She taught me so much about beauty and grace and love. Kathy, I have been truly blessed to have been able to spend some time with you on this journey, thank you for your friendship & love. You will always have a special place in my heart.

Kathy was my cool older cousin, with a great sense of style and a wonderful laugh. When I was sixteen she bought me a very sophisticated and beautiful knit dress and told me I looked fabulous, She was funny and fun to be with, and our family is much lessened without her.

Kathy was my wife, my friend, my lover, my teacher, my advisor, my confidant, my everything. She loved the outdoors and her gardens
(as we have many) with all their flowers, herbs and bushs. She loved to cook, to write, to read, to decorate, to laugh, to camp, to dream, to dance, to entertain. The list is endless.
We were married for almost 25 years (it would have been this Nov. 23rd for our 25th anniverary) These almost 25 years have been the absolute
best years of my life. To say that I will miss this beautiful lady is an
understatement of major porportions.
Good bye Kathy, I love you.

I knew her as Katie when she worked at Eastern's NJ office. We already had a "Cathy" and a "Kathleen" so she graciously accepted us calling her "Katie". We shared a love of reading so whenever one of us read a good book the other read it also. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and couldn't want to see them. I will always remember her smile and laughter and courage. You will be missed, Katie. May your family be comforted by wonderful memories.

Dear Marvin Druding and Tom Robertson, I am Kathy's only surviving uncle on her father's side and was greatly distressed to learn of her recent death. Kathy tried to teach me to ice skate when we were young and I remember her from my youth. Gilbert was my oldest brother. Warren.

Kathy was a joy to know. She loved life and was determined to live it to the fullest. Just being around her was an opportunity for learning that I relished. And though we're not so far apart in age, she was for me a kind of mentor
as well as "Sister"(in-law) and most importantly a true friend. She was beautiful in every sense, particularly in the genuine humility which guided her open minded and nonjudgemental search for meaning and spirituality. Kathy had a great personal strength which she always managed to somehow share with those around her. And at the same time she put everyone in her company at ease. I'll forever hold her memory dear and it will always bring a smile.

I will always remember 2 years ago when my son Jake and I went out to visit and help with a little work on rock oak lodge (an outdoors person dream house on top of a mountain with a beautiful yard full of flowers and herbs for the picking, that house has a very relaxing and soothing spirit about it). You made us feel right at home and appreicated. You cooked us outstanding meals (which I still have those recipes) and we really enjoyed some great conversation and laughs with you and Marvin. I really feel privledge and lucky that I was able to spend a little time with such a wonderful human being. I know heaven is the lucky one now. Thanks Kathy!!

You're not suppose to like your mother-in-law, right? Not me! I was truely blessed to have Mom in my life. She made me feel like family from the moment I met her. I will alway cherish my "heart tree" that she & Oma started the first year Tim & I were married. I am thankful for the "grandma" in her. She was an amazing grandmother to Ally & Stephanie. I remember telling Tim on Ally's first Easter that the Easter Bunny needed to step it up a notch because Grandma showed him up! Mom made every occasion special. My memories include; themed dinners, gourmet picnics, trips to the beach, feeding the wild life at Rock Oak Lodge, planting flowers, ice cream making, cookie baking during the holidays, tattoo applications that were proudly worn by Mom & Marv, 4th of July parades and cards just for because! So many wonderful memories. Mom was a gift from God & will be missed so very much.

Kathy was my friend as well as my sister-in-law. We met in September, 1960 at Hubert Jr. High and shared nearly 5 decaades of our lives together. We had many, many adventures and experiences together but most of all, we always had fun. Kathy's enthusiam and energy were matched only by her creativity and artistic talents. I will miss her so much - my life was better because she was in it.

I am glad we were able to journey together and my life is richer because of you. I will remember and cherish your elegant dinners, your laughter and wit, and your love of Marvin and your family.
Life is a journey and it is in that journey that you have touched me and thought me ... and I am grateful.

Kathy has always been a part of my life. She and my mom were best friends even before marrying Uncle Marv. I loved and cherished the fact that she didn't take any BS from anyone and always appreciated the beauty around her. One of the best gifts that she gave me was staying the extra day after the tornado ripped my world apart. I know her and Marv had an incredibly long drive back to PA and she had to work the next day, but she sacrificed that for us.
I will miss her and think of her often.

Kathy was brave and forward looking, not only in her last battle with cancer, but all of her life. She was determined to finish college when Tim was a baby, strong in the years she was teaching by day and dancing by night, courageous in her decision to move to California and marry Marv, bold enough to move again to the East Coast for a new professional career. She recovered from her first encounter with cancer by challenging herself to dance at Tim's wedding and envisioning a house in the mountains, and she achieved both goals. She was stalwart in caring for her parents and brother Bill (so many trips to Florida and Michigan)and still found joy in camping and cooking and writing. No wonder she was hopeful to the last and died dreaming of a trip to Greece. We will all miss her positive spirit and example.

Kathy...utterly beautiful, charming, and funny with a contagious laugh, and indescribably wonderful voice. Stylish, always tan, creative, kind, generous, and an excellent maker of Pasties and many other memorable family meals...life of the party with the cutest smile ever...her big, bold "K" with a heart inside cards and letters said it all. Coordinated, graceful, athletic, a beautiful dancer with the best figure in the whole world...the person you always wanted to sit next to at dinner, in the car...or anywhere else. She had the perfect blend of Margaret's quick wit and sense of fun and Gil's class, warmth, and easy elegance. Grama had Kathy and Marv's wedding picture in her bedroom forever and although I saw it a thousand times I never stopped being amazed at how beautiful she was. We are and will always be so proud of her...sending you our love, Marv...Tim...and all

Kathy was my sister-in-law for 25 years. She was such a talented woman with her crafts, cooking, reading and certainly her writing. I was honored she shared her thoughts with me over the past several years. I have many of the things she made or gave me, which hold special memories now. I will miss her very much as she was such an important part of our family for my sister and of course, my brother. Much Love, Kath, Marcia
