Years ago I was a Deputy Sheriff in Pike County for many years under Sheriff Jebson. He was always a gentleman, a loyal friend to many, and a tireless public official. As Sheriff, he dealt with those incarcerated by treating them well, and he was always concerned with their well-being. He led by example, and Pike County is a better place because of him. I will remember him fondly, and will miss him. RIP, Sheriff Jebson.

brave,funny,helpful,supportive,patient,fun,etc...I could go on all day about this wonderful man who taught me so much about what it takes to be a better person. I am so lucky and fortunate to have him in my life. I will keep all the lessons that he taught me and advice that he gave me with me always. You always believed in me and for that I am a better person. I thank you so very much for being my friend as well as my Grandpa. You will always be in my heart and thoughts. Petch, Kristen & Tracy, my thoughts and prayers are with you always. I know only to well that losing a father/grandfather is very devastating. I think of all of the family picnics we used to have. I even remember when Uncle Jeb would come to the house to fix the TV. He always had a warm smile for everyone. He will be forever missed.

I remember Mr. Jebson from when I was young and visiting him and his wife at their house with Kristen. We would go swimming or who can forget the infamous sleepover I was supposed to have with his granddaughter and didn't. He was always so nice and kind to me and and my family. You will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

We have so many fond memories of Arthur - "Jeb" to us. His friendship is eternal. He was more than a good friend to our mom and dad. He was friend, confidant, trusted advisor, support in rough times and so much more. We will miss him dearly and take comfort in having known such a wise and loving man.

You are the true example of what a husband, father and grandfather should be. I'm honored that i was so lucky to have you in my corner and by my side. Even though you are gone your love will be with me always. I am forever grateful to have had you in my life! Miss you already! Bet your dirty neck i do!!!

Petch, I'll be praying for you. As you and I both know it is hard to say goodbye no matter how long they have suffered. He will be with your wonderful mother now. Your parents were great and I'll always remember them with a smile. Love you my friend.
