The Mitschele Family posted a condolence
I had the pleasure of having this wonderful woman in my life from the time I was 6 years old and became good friends with Steve as we endured all of our school days together. Then having the opportunity to work at Woodloch for several years I really came to know and love Aunt Mary for the beautiful person that she truly was. I have never met another person like her in my life, who could share a warm genuine smile with everyone she met or make someone feel so at home right from the start. I honestly don't ever remember seeing her without a smile on her face and I can still hear the sound of her soft laughter. I will always remember seeing her and Uncle Harry at the door greeting everyone on Sunday mornings. And as they started getting a little older, they would sit in their chairs and still greet each guest, most often by name, with the same warmth and genuine hospitality that they have since passed on to their children and grandchildren. I am so happy that my family also was fortunate enough to meet and know how truly special she was. Thank you Aunt Mary for so many wonderful memories that you have left behind and for sharing so much of yourself. You will be so missed by so many people. Being sad because you are gone just doesn't feel right, because when I think of you, all I see is happiness. Your smile will live on in my heart forever. To all of your family, thank you for sharing this truly special lady with all of us. May God bless her and remember: keep smiling, cause she is always watching and you know that is the way she would want it.
With much love and many warm hugs, Robin, Herb and our family

Our heartfelt condolences to the Kiesendahl family. Mrs. Kiesendahl always had such a beautiful smile and went out of her way to make us feel at home at Woodloch. 5 years ago when my son was an infant, he started crying during lunch and finally fell asleep on a couch outside the dining room. Mrs. Kiesendahl saw my husband sitting there with my son and offered to watch him so my husband could finish eating his lunch. She was such a warm and engaging person. Thank you for the beautiful memories.

I have very fond memories of Mary Kiesendahl from the time I was a young child to the last time I saw her a few years ago. She always had a smile on her face and treated her guests like family. One of my earliest memories of Mary was when we returned to Woodloch for our 2nd or 3rd visit, when we walked into the lodge she greeted us by name. How she could remember each guest was a gift. My condolences to John, Steve, Nancy and the rest of the family.
