Rosemary T. Gordon, age 64, of White Mills died Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at home. Mrs. Gordon was born January 8, 1946 in Scranton, PA and was the daughter of the late George and Mary (Scartelli) Lynch. Rosemary was a member of B.V.M. Queen of Peace Catholic Church and the Altar & Rosary Society. She enjoyed sewing, crafts and gardening and was dedicated to her family and cherished her grandchildren. She graduated from Dunmore High School in 1963 and worked at Bell Telephone and the Hawley Bank before her employment at the Wallenpaupack Area School District as a receptionist, where she worked for 25 years prior to her retirement in 2008. She is survived by her husband of 41 years: John J.Gordon; Daughter & son-in-law, Erin Gordon & Rob Lynch of Honesdale, PA; son & daughter-in-law, Shawn & Jen Gordon of Montpelier, VT; sister & brother-in-law, Theresa & Joe Mucciolo of Springbrook Twp., PA; cousin, Marianne & Jim DeStefano of Scranton, PA; four grandchildren, Kirby, Kiah, Holly, Rowan and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Saturday, January 23 from 9:30 to 10:00AM at BVM Queen Of Peace Roman Catholic Church, 314 Chestnut Ave, Hawley, PA, followed by a Memorial Mass at 10:00am with Rev. Richard W. Beck, Pastor officiating. Rev. William Healey and Rev. William Pickard will assistant with the Mass. Cremation will be at Lake Region Crematory in Lake Ariel.
