It's still hard to believe even a month later that Mark is still not with us. We still wait for him to walk through the door of the gym at school or onto the baseball or soccer fields. We miss his Sunday morning hug and smile at church. He will be greatly missed everyday but it is up to us to never forget how he touched our lives and to continue to live life to its fullest.

We always thought of Mark as the all-American guy. Mark was one of the nicest, most personable people who loved his family, whom were his priority. He cared about and was involved in his community. He was always smiling, and it was genuine. Mark had a garage full of “toys” and would offer to help at anytime, and he drove a hot rod! We are going to miss you, Mark. Kristi, Max and Mackenzie, we’re filled with sorrow at your loss and our thoughts continue to be with you.

Time goes by so fast. It seems like just last year I was visiting aunt Maggie, Roxanne, Mike and of course Chucky, who was always so big compaired to me, that he scared me. I remember when they lived down by Franklin they had a cabin out back of house up in woods. On time we were all walking up to cabin and I fell over a tree limp and cut my leg. Being a young crying wimpy girl Mark pick me up and help me hobble down to aunt maggie's. Then I remember Mark and Mike laughing so hard when Roxanne tried to teach me how to shave my legs. I will never forget that. I had so many nicks that were bleeding. Or when Aunt Maggie and my mom were making candy with chocolate's and we all would sneek out and take a few with out them even knowing it. Most of all just a few years ago Mark took the time when he was in the area just to stop and see me. That meant so much to me because over the years we all never seem to have time for family and I am as guilty for that as anyone else. My heart goes out to all who had the pleasure in knowing Mark and will suffer from his loss. But most of all for the lost of those who never knew him at all.

Mark Turner, or as I know him as Uncle Mark was a very special person to me. I know he is in a better place, but I do know that he will be missed very much. No matter what I and everyone else will always love him. He was a great man, always helping anyone when they needed him too. He always thought about other people before himself. He was the best god father I could've ever asked for, and I know he was very special to me and many others. There are so many memories that I will never forget, like baseball games, all of those big birthday parties, basketball games, soccer games, the nights that my dad would stay at your house and play video games until three in the morning, and there will always be the famous "Uncle Buck". He was a great man, and I know that myself and many others love him very much, and can't wait until one day we can all be together again. Rest in peace, Uncle Mark.

We never got to meet Mark in person but I talked on the phone with him many times when he would call his Mom in Lake Havasu, Maggie, my best friend. What a bubbly personality he had over the phone...just like his Mom! I'm so sorry that we'll never get to meet him here on this earth, but we'll meet him in Heaven one day. Our thoughts and prayers are especially with his wife, two children and his wonderful Mom, sister and two brothers. Our hearts go out to you in your time of sorrow and pray that God will give you added strength to get through this difficult time. Our Love, Vicki & Mike Russell of Lake Havasu City, AZ.
