Obituary of Margaret Ann Hoover

Margaret A. Hoover passed away Saturday, Mar. 6, 2010 following her brave battle with cancer. She was born and spent her childhood in Parsippany, NJ, before moving to Tafton, PA, as a young teen.
She is survived by her two beloved children, Carl and Christiana Christophersen of Tafton; her mother, Margaret A. Harvey of Hawley; her loving fiancé, Richard Yeoman; his two children, Nicole and Eric Yeoman; four brothers: Ed Voigtman and his wife Janiece of East Hampton, MA, Robert Voigtman of Boonton, NJ, Richard Voigtman of Long Island, NY, and William Voigtman and his wife Sue of Mt. Arlington, NJ; a sister, Theresa Hoover of Parsippany, NJ. Margie was also a very special aunt to her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Hoover.
Margie worked at The Lodge at Woodloch before beginning her battle with cancer. She had also worked for many years at the family business, Hoover's Tavern in Parsippany, NJ. A Girl Scout leader and school library volunteer, she also enjoyed bird watching, gardening, mountain biking and martial arts.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, Mar. 13, at 11 AM at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St., Hawley, with Rev. Martin L. Cox, Pastor of Hawley United Methodist Church, officiating. Calling hours will be from 10 to 11 AM immediately prior to the service.
