Obituary of Mary Jane H. Coach

Mary Jane H. Coach, age 82, died Sunday, April 4, 2010, at Little Flower Manor in Wilkes-Barre, where she resided for the last six years. Mrs. Coach was born June 15, 1927, in Wilkes-Barre, PA, and was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Helen (Douglas) Seacrist. She was predeceased by her husband, George E. Coach, in December 2003. She loved music and dance. Mary Jane and her husband were both members of the Bonita Springs Village Band. She was a retired data entry officer for Sperry/Univac in Blue Bell, PA. Mrs. Coach was a former member BVM Queen of Peace RC Church in Hawley and St. Jude's RC Church in Chalfont, PA. She is survived by three daughters: Pamela Morrison of Westlake, OH, Grace Stolle of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Mary Jane Myers of Rushland, PA; one son and daughter-in-law: Michael and Fern Coach of Penn's Park, PA; two granddaughters: Samantha Morrison and Fern Marie Coach; a grandson: Benjamin Coach; one sister: Patricia Monick of Kingston, PA; and one brother: Benjamin Seacrist of Wilkes-Barre, PA. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Lois Ann Sutch and Georgiana Davis. Calling hours will be Friday, April 9, 2010, from noon to 1PM at Little Flower Manor, 200 South Meade St., Wilkes-Barre, PA, followed by a Funeral Mass at 1PM celebrated by Rev. Richard Ghezzi. Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery in Lakeville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Little Flower Manor, 200 South Meade St., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702 or to contact the family call Michael Coach at 267-252-9435.
