Obituary of Constance Werner

Constance "Connie" Werner, age 52, of Highland Manor in Carbondale died Tuesday, April 6, 2010, at Ellen Memorial Health Care Center in Honesdale after an extended battle with cancer.
Mrs. Werner was born March 15, 1958, in Honesdale, PA, and was the daughter of Anne M. (Bomba) Kreiter and the late Jon P. Kreiter.
Connie was a graduate of Wallenpaupack Area High School Class of 1975. She attended Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. Connie was exceptionally talented and extremely creative. She was an accomplished artist and enjoyed designing her own clothes, floral arranging and interior design. She had a tender heart which was evident in the love that she showed towards her family and her animals. She will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her mother, Anne M. (Bomba) Kreiter of Hawley; three sisters: Jean Micolucci and her husband Joseph ci of Beach Lake, PA, Kim Katzenback and her husband Richard of Succasunna, NJ, and Pam Kreiter of Houston, TX; a brother: Karl "Kip" Kreiter and his wife Bev of Hawley, PA; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Hospice Community Care, Highland Manor and Ellen Memorial Health Care Center for the exceptional care and compassion shown to Connie and her family. Words cannot express what their kindness means to Connie's family.
Calling hours will be Thursday, April 8, 2010, from 6 to 8 PM at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, April 9, 2010, at 10:00AM at BVM Queen Of Peace Roman Catholic Church, 314 Chestnut Ave, Hawley, by Rev. Richard W. Beck, Pastor. Interment will be in BVM Queen of Peace Cemetery.
Cremation took place at Lake Region Crematory in Lake Ariel.
