Obituary of Margaret Anne Dinkel

Margaret Anne Dinkel, age 89, of Newton, NJ and formerly of The Hideout in Lake Ariel, PA and Wayne , NJ, died Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at Valley View Care Center in Newton, NJ. Mrs. Dinkel was born May 19, 1921 in Philadelphia, PA and was the daughter of the late George and Roxanna (Morris) Beadman. She was predeceased by her first husband, Robert H. Steinhoff in 1988 and her second husband, Charles C. Dinkel in 2000. She retired as a secretary for Wayne Valley High School. Mrs. Dinkel was a member of the United Methodist Women and was involved in establishing a firehouse in the Hideout. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed crocheting and crafting. She is survived by two sons & daughters-in-law, Robert, Jr. "Hank" & Chris Steinhoff of Dumont, NJ; George F. "Jerry" & Sue Steinhoff of Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ; one daughter & son-in-law, Deborah J. & Rick Bell of Newton, NJ; 5 grandchildren, Lara & John O'Donohue of Union, NJ; Nikki & Reid Valentine of Clifton, NJ; Karen & Scott Albanese of Saddle Brook, NJ; Ed & Patti Muldoon of Newton, NJ; Colleen Muldoon of Boxborough, MA; and 5 great grandchildren, Sydney, EJ, Emily, Wyatt, and Megan. Calling hours will be Thursday, Sept. 30th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. The funeral will be Friday, Oct. 1st at 2 PM at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley with Rev. Martin L. Cox, officiating. Burial will be in Lakeville Cemetery in Lakeville, PA. Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Assoc., 63 North Franklin St., Kirby Health Center Annex, Wilkes-barre, PA 18701 or Lakeville United Methodist Church, 431 Purdytown Turnpike, Lakeville, PA 18438
