Harold F. Quick, age 92, of Hawley, died Saturday, December 14, 2013, at Ellen Memorial Health Care Center in Honesdale.
Mr. Quick was born July 3, 1921, in Bethel, NY, and was the son of the late Floyd A. and Hazel (DeGroat) Quick. He was predeceased by his wife, Katherine (Masker) Quick; a sister, Dorothy Bourbeau; and a granddaughter, Regina Quick.
He served in the Army during World War II and was a security guard for Blooming Grove Hunting Club. Harold loved hunting and fishing.
He is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law: John and Janet Quick of Old Forge, PA, Floyd and Sandra Quick of Hawley, PA, and Gary and Debbie Quick of Blooming Grove, PA; three daughters: Patricia and her husband, Paul Kennedy of Honesdale, PA, and Sarah and her husband, Skeezy Frisbie of Hawley, PA; Beatrix Bonacci and her significant other, Howard Bunting of Taylor, PA; 18 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews, including special niece, Nora.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
