T.A. Richard Glass, age 90, of Martin's Creek, PA and formerly of Rowland and Bethlehem, PA, died Monday, November 29, 2010 at Village At Sullivan Trail in Easton.
Mr. Glass was born September 17, 1920 in Allmansville, PA and was the son of the late Forrie M. and Orphia (Thompson) Glass. He was predeceased by his wife, Carol Joan Levy Glass.
He served in the Navy during World War II and was a steam fitter for Lehigh Engineering in Bethlehem, PA Mr. Glass was a member of Pentecostal Assemblies of God Church in Hamlin, PA and Faith Community Assembly of God in Bethlehem, PA; Fifty year member of Steamfitters Union, Local 420, member of Refrigeration Service Engineers Society, member of Hillview Rod & Gun Club in Rowland, PA and was a volunteer for the American Red Cross Bloodmobile for many years.
He is survived by two daughters & sons-in-law, Joan Carol Glass & Christian Kazanecki of Martin's Creek, PA; Jean Belle & David Acker of Emmaus, PA; two sons: David Richard Glass of Blandon, PA and Mark William & Linda Reynolds of Emmaus, PA; one grandson, Mark Reynolds, Jr.; one granddaughter, Rachel Joan Kazanecki.
Calling hours will be Thursday, Dec. 2nd from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. The funeral will be Friday, Dec. 3rd at 11:00 AM at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley with Rev. Norman R. Beighley, Pastor Bethel Lutheran Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Rowland Cemetery, Rowland.
