Dad - You will be so dearly missed. Words alone can't explain how much I miss you. I've had so many great memories of you and your love for our family. I feel fortunate that my memories will be with me every day. I'm sure you are in a better place. Much love, John

My grandpa taught me things only a grandpa can. Like to always work hard, keep a positive attitude, and never quit. He taught me these qualities by leading by example. I will never forgot him playing football with me and my friends in the back yard and how he was always there to help me with my homework after school. One day I hope I'll be as good as a grandfather as he was. Rest in peace Grandpa, you will never be forgotten.

To My Beloved Father,
I pray that you know how much I love you and always will. You are truly the most wonderful man I have ever met. You taught me what unconditional love is and I never had a day when I didn't know how much you loved and cherished me. I thank you for that and I pray I can do the same for my four wonderful sons. You were an example of kindness, gentleness, courage and strength. I miss you more each day and love you with all my heart!!! Thank you to all who have left thoughts here about my Dad. I really appreciate it. Love Karen

I remember how as children we would always fall asleep in our car as our father drove us back home from Grandma Caputo's house.

As I think back over the years about Uncle John, my mind is filled with happy memories of him. A few examples are: (1) him being my confirmation sponsor (2) the Sundays around the dining room table at his parents' house with often over ten relatives present (3) the many Wednesday mornings, I had the honor of playing golf with Uncle John, Uncle Lou and my father - the four of us so much enjoyed each other's company and (4) the weeks he helped me in a business project involving cable television shows. I was always struck by his honesty, patience and genuine concern for people.

We all just knew him as "Grandpa". He always had a smile on his face and was always cheering his grandsons on at the Buckhorn stadium. We will miss him at the football games. He was soooooooo proud of Joey, Steven, Scott and Nick. He would talk about them to whom ever would listen and always, always had a sparkle in his eye when he talked of them. We will miss him very much!

Sympathy to John's family. He was always such a gentleman, and the love for his family was always evident. He spoke of his grandchildren all the time. He was a pleasure to know, and will be missed by many. Rest in peace John.
