Patricia A. Seidensticker, age 84, of Lake Teedyuskung, Hawley, died Thursday, April 14, 2011, at home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard H. Seidensticker, in 1974. Patricia was born September 5, 1926, in Queens, NY, and was the daughter of the late James V. and Geraldine A. (Walsh) Jewell. She was a graduate of Mary Magdalen High School. Formerly of Brentwood, Long Island, NY, she was a retired bus driver for the Brentwood Public Schools. A resident of Lake Teedyuskung for 52 years, she was a member of BVM Queen of Peace RC Church in Hawley. She is survived by two daughters: Audrey Jude Wollman and her husband Frank and Geraldine "Dee" A. Taylor, all of Hawley; two sons: Howard H. "Buzz" Seidensticker and his wife Cheri of Leland, NC, and Richard A. Seidensticker and his wife Joanne of E. Northport, LI, NY; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, PFC James Seidensticker, who was killed in 1968 during the Tet Offensive in Vietnam. Calling hours will be Monday, April 18, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9:30 PM at Michael J. Grant Funeral Home, 571 Suffolk Ave., Brentwood, NY. There will be a Funeral Mass on Tuesday, April 19, at 9:30 AM at St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church, Brentwood, LI, NY. Burial will be in St Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 DannyThomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105
