Katherine G. Quick, age 85, of Hawley died Wednesday, May 18, 2011, at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Harold Quick. Born January 6, 1926, in Paupack, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Lillian (Huff) Masker. She retired after working as a baker at IGA Bakery for 10 years. She had also work for many years at Vacca's Silk Mill in Hawley. She enjoyed bingo and trips to the casinos as well as spending time with Harold and all her family. In addition to her husband, she is survived by 3 daughters: Patricia A. Kennedy and her husband Paul of Honesdale, Sarah R. Frisbie and her husband Skeezy of Hawley and Beatrix M. Bunting and her husband Digger of Taylor; 3 sons: John H. and his wife Janet of Old Forge, Floyd A. and his wife Sandy of Tink Wig, Hawley and Gary W. and Debbie of Blooming Grove; 18 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 4 sisters, Hattie McKean, Grace Masker, Frances West and Dorothy Mills, and 3 brothers, James Masker and Walter and Elston Goodwin. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Cremation took place at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel. Memorials may be made to American Parkinson Disease Association, Parkinson Plaza, 135 Parkinson Ave., Staten Island, NY 10305
