Thanks to all for your wonderful and loving words. He is so missed. His smile and everything about him. It is still hard for me to imagine him never being at the lake house again, but his memories are so many and so great and he will be with us in spirit forever. I love and miss you Rick!

Cyndy,Richard and Jason...Rick was one of the nicest people I have ever met.He was smart and gentle and kind. He always worried about eceryone else around him before he worried about himself.I could tell from the minute I met him how much he cared about his family, especially his boys. I could see he gave them everything in life he could. Richard and Jason, you hold your heads up high and be proud to have had a father like that. Jean Sisto

So many memories I have of Ricky. At such a young age Ricky and I use to goof around, peek into the Christmas present under the tree, play cards and games with Peggy, at holiday dinners we would feed the dogs under the table anything we didnt want to eat, Ha Ha!He even helping me sneak out to the bonfires next door down at the lake. My Aunt Peg and Uncle Fred would have me stay sometimes parts of summers. Ricky taught me how to drive a boat, he taught me how to swim. As we grew older we didnt get to hang out as much. I wish I had spent more time with him as the years fly by. He was alway there for everyone. Ricky always had a smile on his face. As I left the memorial dinner tonight I seen the most beautiful sunset over the lake. Knowing you are already shinning down on us looking over all your love ones. Every time I see a sunset like that I will think of you. Flying high in the Heavens. Im going to miss my cousin so much. I love ya Ricky.
To Cyndy, Richard, Jason, Fred, Peg, Radni, Radune, Robin, and the rest of the family. I am deeply saddened by your loss. May you find comfort and strength in your memories. Loosing a loved one is never easy. Know that we are all here for you.
I love you all so very much.

I have been out of town and no access to my computer and saw tonight from email from a fraternity brother of the passing of Rick. I can't believe it! I just saw pictures of Todd, Marcus and Rick and their get together and though wow Rick still looks the same as he did when we were in college together. Was looking forward to seeing him possible at the reunion. You will be greatly missed by all my friend and brother, but mostly by your sons who will never know what a wonderful person you were!!

I am a friend of Rick's wife and I am stunned to say the least. I only met Rick on one occasion and he was cool as the other side of the pillow. I remember how his wife was dying to be with him (before they were eventually married) and he played her so cool. Any picture of him shows how relaxed and mellow he was. I'm very sorry.

Rick was an awesome person that everyone loved, how could you help but love him. He was our friend, golf partner, and pilot. We will miss him so much and golfing will never be the same, even though he and Tom beat Phil and I.
I feel sure that he was on the best and fastest jet straight to heaven and is getting to fly every day up there.

Even though it's been many years since I've seen Rick, I have so many wonderful memories of him. Boating, Skiing, The Drive-In with friends, House Parties, and more. My heart is very heavy as I write this, but somehow, when you think of Rick, a smile always comes to your face. He was always so nice, and so genuine. I feel blessed to have known him and I am thankful that I was able to share in some small portion of his life. I remember one night in particular that my car broke down. Rick was the only one to offer me the long ride home in the snow storm. However, he made me listen to Led Zeppelin first, as he attempted to play it on his guitar. This went on for over an hour. Times like that, I will cherish forever. My heart goes out to Cyndy and her boys, and everyone who knew and loved Rick, especially his family and friends. God Bless you and keep you, always! In Memory, Lauren Thompson, Wilmington, NC
