Obituary of Harry Ringleben

Harry Ringleben, age 80, a lifelong resident of Hawley died Thursday, November 3, 2011, at VNA Hospice at CMC in Scranton. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, the former Patricia Gordon.
Born October 22, 1931, in Hawley, he was the son of the late Clarence and Helen (Dapper) Ringleben. He was a Hawley High School Class of 1949 graduate and attended Bliss Electrical School. He spent four years in the US Navy where he served on the USS Wisconsin during the Korean Conflict.
A retired Satellite Technician for AT&T, Mr. Ringleben was a member of Tabernacle Bible Church, an active member of Blue Stone Hunting Club, a former member F&AM and Irem Temple Road Captain String Band, and was volunteer tax preparer for Wayne Co. Senior Citizens
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters: Terri (Dese) Simmons of Tivoli, NY, and Jill Pulici of Hawley; one son: Scott Ringleben of Dickson City; one sister: Merna Howe of Southington, CT; and six grandchildren: Sarah Zukoff, Holly Sullivan, Samantha Pulici, Danielle Ringleben, Kayla Simmons and Rachel Simmons.
There will be a Memorial Service at 1:00 PM on Monday, Nov. 7, at Tabernacle Bible Church, 455 Grove St., Honesdale, with Rev. Richard Gregory, Senior Pastor, and Rev. Sal Santoli, Assistant Pastor, officiating. Private cremation will be held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.
