Therese Rollins, age 86, of Fawn Lake Forest, Hawley, died Saturday, February 8, 2014, at home following an illness. She is survived by her husband, Harold Rollins, whom she wed in 1951. Born August 1, 1927, in Manhattan, NY, she was the daughter of the late John and Helen (Downey) Carney. After raising her children, she became a fraud investigator for Chemical Bank until her retirement. A Fawn Lake Forest resident for 27 years, Mrs. Rollins was a member of St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church and also attended BVM Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Church. She worked as a volunteer for Lackawaxen Ambulance as well. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter: Mary Babcock of Levittown, NY; three sons: Harold F. Rollins of Brooklyn, NY, Timothy Rollins of East Meadow, NY, and Michael Rollins of Elmont, NY; a brother: John Carney of California; a sister: Joan O'Neill; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, February 12, at 11:00 AM at St. Ann's Roman Catholic Parish, , Shohola, with Rev. Paul M. Mullen, Pastor of St. Vincent De Paul Roman Catholic Church, officiating. Burial will be in St Ann's Cemetery, Shohola.. Memorials may be made to St. Ann's Roman Catholic Parish, 125 Richardson Ave., Shohola, PA 18458 or Central Vol. Fire Dept., PO Box 209, Rowland, PA 18454.
