Antoinette & Joe Ippolito posted a condolence
Our Aunt Vickie was a very strong woman. She gave up having a life of her own to take care of my grandmother and great uncle. She made the best raisin bread and delicious apple pies. The highlight of visiting the farm was making root beer floats on a Saturday night when we were kids. I will miss our talks that we had every Sunday and so happy that we got to see her on her 93rd birthday last year. She was the end of a generation and she will be missed.

I had the pleasure of knowing Vicky as she was my mother's roommate at Ellen Memorial. She was a lovely woman who referred to my mother as her "best friend." She will forever hold a place in my heart for being an animal lover, loving my little dog and asking to hold him whenever I visited. I will miss her. My sympathies to the family.
