My heart goes out to the La Duca family. You are in my prayers. I had the privilege to meet Mr. La Duca at work. He was having trouble with his glasses and we hit it off right away. He was a caring and funny man.He would always make me laugh with his jokes about the ducks. I still use it today! I remember seeing him on the road directing traffic when there was an accident and he would wave. I will miss him. He lit up a room when he walked in. I am sure he is lighting up heaven. Rest in peace Mr. La Duca.

I've met Bob only a couple of times. I was visiting Nat on a business trip, which was held at the "IBM Tafton Office". I met her family, and also friends of her parents (I believe they were into domino - a game I never thought of before as a game anyone could get into - but I was wrong). Bob was busy, running around the house, entertaining everybody, being actively stand-by for the fire brigade. He clearly loved his family and his friends. I felt privileged that, as an outsider, I was allowed to witness this ; no parade or masquerade on my behalf. I'm happy with this memory.

We are so sorry to hear about Bob's passing and so shocked as well. Our prayers are with his wife and family. Uncle Bob often visited us in our Allstate office and we were so fond of him and his wife. His love for animals was a shared love by both the Laduca's and the D'Andrea's. He will always be in our prayers.
Love, Al and Gayla

Dearest Betty, Nat, Robbie and children, and sister Anita, brother Nick and his beloved cat. It is with tears in our eyes that we write this to you. Bob was the best of the best. His smile was infectious, his laugh contagious, and his hand in his pocket-classic. He could joust with the best of them. The camping trips to Allegany with our kids was more than memorable. Love you much, miss you more. Bernadette, Jim, Jimmy, Tommy and Peter Loesch

Dear Uncle Robbie, Thank you for all the camping trips and taking us to all the historic parks. For getting me my first car and for fixing all the others. For tips on how to thwart telemarketers and wrong numbers. For making us read the directions before we played the game. For sharing the videos of old car commercials. For taking care of nana. Good times. Good man, good heart.

Dad was a character. He was funny, kind and caring, but in a gruff sort of way. He loved his family with fierce loyalty and made sure they were always well provided for. his grandchildren were his pride and joy. My sincerest condolences to everyone- we've lost a wonderful man.

"Uncle Bob" had been a client of mine for more than 20 years, and even though the only time I actually saw him was when he would make the trip to Long Island for my annual talk, I enjoyed our many conversations on the phone over the years. Aside from being a great client, I consider him a friend and he will be greatly missed.

I only met him a few times many years ago. I did get the experience of driving with him. As I recall, he was going at or below the speed limit, but had the radar detector on, which was going off incessantly in the city. I guess I got the impression that he was kind of quirky, which suited me just fine.
