Obituary of Harriett E. Mulhollem

Harriett E. Mulhollem, age 85, of Hawley, PA, died unexpectedly Saturday, July 14, 2012, at home. Mrs. Mulhollem was born March 28, 1927, in Rahway, NJ, and was the daughter of the late Arthur and Ethel (Springer) Boyle. She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest E. Mulhollem. Prior to her retirement she worked as a registered nurse. She was a member of Tafton Fire Co. Women's Auxiliary, Paupack 55+ Senior Group, Red Cross, Christ Episcopal Church, Order of the Eastern Star and she volunteered at Hospice. She is survived by three daughters: Linda Re and her husband Tony of New Bern, NC, Janice Tryba of Freehold, NJ, and Deborah Znaczko of Bradenton, FL; two sons: Ernest "Butch" and Barbara Mulhollem of Rotonda West, FL, and Mark and Sheryl Mulhollem of East Brunswick, NJ; eight grandchildren: Lisa Beasley, Karen Kramer, Justin Tryba, Brittany and Hunter Znaczko, Alyssa, Ryan and Sean Mulhollem; a great granddaughter: Katelyn Beasley; three brothers: Arthur, Walter and James Boyle; and two sisters: Marjorie Middaugh and Elizabeth "Betty" Melchior. Calling hours will be Thursday, July 19, from 6 to 9 PM and Friday, July 20, from 10 to 10:30 AM at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St., Hawley, PA. The funeral will be Friday, July 20, at 11 AM at Christ Episcopal Church, Rt. 6, Indian Orchard, PA. Burial will be held at Pine Grove Cemetery, Paupack, PA. Memorials may be made to Tafton Fire and Rescue, PO Box 5, Tafton, PA 18464; Christ Episcopal Church, c/o 20 Grandma's Lane, Honesdale, PA 18431; or Ellenton Hospice House, 4151 37th St. E., Palmetto, FL 34221.
