Franklin Winston Warshaw, age 47, of Quakertown and formerly of Hawley and Shohola died unexpectedly Wednesday, November 26, 2014. Mr. Warshaw was born October 26, 1967, in Camden, SC, and was the son of Ingrid (Gerkens) Warshaw of Shohola and the late Saul Warshaw. He was a 1985 graduate of Wallenpaupack Area High School and 1989 graduate of the Culinary Institute of America. He was employed as a chef. In addition to his mother, he is survived by three daughters: Alexandria and Isabella Warshaw of Collegeville and Juliana Warshaw of Quakertown; one son: Franklin Warshaw Jr. of Quakertown; two brothers: William H.R. Warshaw of Manhattan, NY, and David Alexander Warshaw of Honesdale; his companion: Allie Fee of Quakertown; two nieces and one nephew. Calling hours will be Saturday, December 6, from 1 to 3 PM at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. The Memorial Service will follow at 3:00 PM with Rev. Martin L. Cox, Jr., Retired Pastor of Hawley United Methodist Church, officiating. Cremation was held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel. Private internment of the urn will be held at Green Gates Cemetery.
